Meghan Kelley, President
The role of the President is to: Prepare for and lead Board and General Meetings; Organize, set and plan priorities of the PTA; Collaborate with Principal on events and community outreach; Serve as ex-officio for all Creston PTA Committees; Perform all organizational duties of the PTA; Coordination of all fundraising for the PTA; Fiscal responsibility, budgeting and banking; Coordination of all programs run by the PTA. (Effort: 40-60 hours per month, on average).
VACANT, Vice President
The role of the Vice President: Represent the President in their absence or upon their request; Complete duties as assigned or requested by the President; Attend all scheduled Board and General Meetings. (Effort: 15 hours per month, on average).
Keely Montgomery, Secretary
The role of Secretary: record all meeting minutes of Board and General Meetings; Provide announcements and reminders for meetings; Complete duties as assigned or requested by the President; Attend all scheduled Board and General Meetings. (Effort 6 hours per month, on average).
Erin Telford, Treasurer
The role of the Treasurer: Keep up to date on non-profit financial issues by attending trainings, managing the funds of the unit, preparing monthly reports, assisting in developing the annual budget, managing PTA cash flow and authorizing budgeted expenditures, preparing and arranging for annual audits and tax preparation. (Effort: 10 hours per month, on average).
Kate Coats, Volunteer Coordinator
The role of the Volunteer/Membership Coordinator: Coordinate membership efforts for the PTA by creating, implementing, and assessing a year-round membership plan. Encourage volunteerism in the school community and coordinate volunteers for various programs. Attend monthly Board Meetings and General Meetings, update membership with state PTA, report at meetings. (Effort: 8 hours per month, on average).
Courtney O’Leary, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Co-Chair
To ensure our PTA continues to keep ‘EVERY CHILD’ as it’s focus, two co-chair positions for the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion role were introduced in 2019 to serve on the Board. One of these positions is reserved for a BIPOC. This is a conscious effort to to combat racism and inequality, foster engagement in underrepresented groups, and include diverse perspectives in positions of power and influence.

This co-chair position will remain open and available until filled by a BIPOC.
Mika Nachmani, Fundraising Chair –
The role of the Fundraising Coordinator: Help establish Chairs for the various fundraising committees (Run for the Eagles, Auction, BottleDrop Program, and Rewards Programs); Oversee PTA’s Fundraising Goals and make adjustments where necessary to meet them; Liaise between the various fundraising Chairs and the President and Treasurer; Seek out and apply for grants; Oversee Community Giving and Sponsorship.
Kerri Babin, Health and Safety Chair
Provide Creston students and families with health and safety information; work on furthering the health of our students while at school and attend monthly Board & General Meetings. (Effort: 8 hours per month, on average).
